The word 'Movember' is a mix of the English words moustache and November. It is an annually recurring event promoted by the Movember Foundation  in order to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. The Foundation does this by asking men to keep their moustaches during the month of November with the goal of raising funds for charity. The purpose of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."

It all started 12 years ago in Melbourne. In 2003, 30 men launched an action about prostate cancer and depression in men where they kept their moustaches for 30 days. That 30-men group expended very quickly. In 2014 the foundation raised more than 409 million in donations. Amazing!

Men and women (Mo bros and Mo sistas) are encouraged to join the foundation so the foundation can strive to early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments and ultimately to realize a reduction in the number of preventable deaths.

Besides getting checked each year, the foundation encourages people to be aware of possible family history of cancer and to create a healthier lifestyle. In 2014, The Movember Foundation was active in 21 countries!

Several international celebrities have participated in the action. Snoop Dogg, Jenson Button, Johnny Depp and many more kept their moustache for this charity - even Justin Bieber!

Also, a lot of big companies come up with different ideas to help out this charity. For example, Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Jameson came up with a quiz and asked us to make 46 customized wooden brim caps and 6 bicycle crates! Now, as a way of supporting Movember, they are giving them away. You just have to answer 3 questions in order to get a chance to win one of the amazing prices. Discover your inner Mo Bro and get a chance to win the handmade Jameson bike or one of our handmade caps or bicycle crates. Enter the quiz so our Mo bro or Mo sista stays healthy and active. After all, the theme of this year is 'Move!'.

Enter the quiz and maybe you'll be one of the lucky winners!

Not a big fan of mustaches nor Jameson Whiskey but still want to help out? You can donate at the Movember Foundation website;
